One original short story per month, typed on a 1953 Smith-Corona and mailed as a physical object — no digital version exists or will. Stories run 1,500 to 4,000 words on cream paper, folded into a stamped envelope with a hand-addressed label. Some months include a second, shorter piece on a postcard. The premise is simple: fiction read on paper, once, without a screen anywhere near it.

I type these individually, which caps the whole thing at about 90 subscribers before it stops being sustainable. The waitlist is currently 140 people.
I am not going to solve this by photocopying. Places open as people leave, roughly six or seven a month, and it moves faster than the number suggests.
