About Letterpress Almanac

A single broadside each month, printed on a 1920s Chandler & Price platen press on 300gsm cotton rag. Each sheet carries a seasonal almanac entry — what is in season, what the moon is doing, one useful thing to know — set in metal type and printed in two colours. The impression is deep enough to read with your fingertips. Printed in a Brooklyn basement that smells permanently of ink and machine oil.

The press is down for two weeks

A roller trolley cracked and the replacement is coming from a man in Ohio who only answers the phone on Tuesdays. August broadsides will ship in the first week of September instead.

Nobody will be charged for August until it actually ships. If you would rather skip the month entirely, reply and I will pause you.
